We made a detour to reach this restaurant that we found in the Michelin guide and we were happy we did. The interior is quite old style but we'll preserve with pretty rock walls. The service is without reproach. The food is typical Português. We got the entradas a Marques de Marialva (small size). It's a mix of fruits and portuguese charcuteries and cheese. The fruits (melon and pineapple) were fresh and sweet and the charcuterie was of high quality. Then we took Cabrito a padeiro for main. The meat was very well cook and delicious. It came with potatoes that were probably cooked with meat, very tasty. The price is reasonable. For two adults and a 2 yrs-old, we paid around 60 including some wine. I recommend that you make a detour too.

Wonderful michelin star restaurant. Prices are affordable and the service is discreet but very friendly. Food is good and portions are above average. Good atmosphere and quiet dining environment. Would highly recommend this restaurant when you are visiting coimbra district. Must try is the fish with rice and the Vitela.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been. Unbeatable Quality vs Price, excellent atmosphere, a fantastic and very cordial staff in the very underrated city of Cantanhede. A must!

Superb restaurant. Everything fresh and we'll cooked. Loved the grilled cod! Amazing. Great deal for the value you pay. On top of everything the service is world class.
